Lindblad Expedition Cruises
While we’ve come to expect Lindblad Expeditions to offer intrepid travelers the chance to experience some of the world’s most exotic and remote destinations around the world, they have fantastic itineraries right here in North America. From Alaska to the Pacific Northwest to the California Coast, these trips are made for those seeking a challenge while experiencing luxury. You’ll still get to explore remote areas and stunning, untouched wilderness as you spy wildlife and learn about the destination, you’ll just do it without a trek across the globe. And whether you are ready to explore the great outdoors now or later, Beyond Boutique can plan the ideal itinerary created just for you.
One of our favorite places on earth, Alaska offers jaw-dropping scenery, interesting cultures, and rich wildlife, and there is no better way to discover this bucket list destination than with experienced guides and specialists! Lindblad itineraries range from six-day escapes to 15-day adventures. You won’t believe the cavernous spaces, scores of humpback whales breaching the water’s surface, and a plethora of brown bears. You will kayak along the remote coastline, and hike through the verdant wilderness. Prepare to be awed.
Within the Pacific Ocean, closer to Los Angeles than most imagine, lies a huge and seldom-seen U.S. national park made up of both land and sea, the Channel Islands National Park is spectacular. This five-day expedition is a perfect getaway for those seeking something special as you will explore gorgeous, pristine landscapes and coastlines. Discover prevalent flora and fauna, along with wild animals aplenty on hikes with Lindblad naturalists. Go paddleboarding, kayaking, and enjoy yoga and meditation classes, on this very cool expedition ship.
Columbia and Snake Rivers
Expect quite as adventure along the Columbia and Snake Rivers. You’ll walk in the footsteps of Lewis & Clark, discovering some of the region they visited during their Corps of Discovery expedition. The journey begins in Portland, Oregon and ends in Clarkston, Washington* with several stops along the way. Exploring nature has never been more fun as you hike, kayak and more plus learn from Lindblad’s knowledgeable expedition team. If a culinary experience is what you are seeking, you will love tasting the flavors of the Pacific Northwest’s legendary vineyards and farmlands.
British Columbia and the San Juan Islands
Seattle to Vancouver is a magnificent journey through British Columbia, where you will stop at remote islands dotted along the way. You can expect to see marine and land wildlife while hiking, kayaking, or riding on Zodiacs while learning about the history and culture of First Nations people. Of course, you will learn so much from your expedition leader, a cultural interpreter, naturalists, a Lindblad-National Geographic certified photo instructor, and a wellness specialist.
If seeing and learning about marine life is for you, then you’ll love exploring the Baja Peninsula with Lindblad Expeditions. Called a “living aquarium” by Jacques Cousteau, the Sea of Cortez is home to many species of whales (like blue whales, humpback whales, and orcas…just to name a few), dolphins, seabirds (including brown- and blue-footed boobies), lizards, fish, and so much more. Explore desert isles and giant cactus forests. With Lindblad naturalists and undersea specialists, you will come away with so much knowledge about the area, but you will also be joined by Lindblad-National Geographic’s certified photo instructor.
